Dubarry Boot Cleaning & Champagne
Join us on Thursday 21st September from 5.30 to 9pm at Linnell Countrywear, Silverstone, NN12 8FS, for an evening jointly hosted by Dubarry of Ireland and Linnell Countrywear.
Bring your Dubarry boots with you and whilst you enjoy a glass of champagne, the Dubarry team will rejuvenate your current boots for you, ready for the coming season. For successful treatment, your boots must be clean and dry! Please note that you do not need to own a pair of Dubarry boots to join us on the evening!
On the evening we will have some goody bags which have been generously donated by Dubarry and will be given to the first 50 visitors. We will also be holding a competition for a chance to win a pair of Cork or Kerry boots – take a look on our Facebook and Instagram pages for more details.
Along with champagne and sausages, there will also be the opportunity to browse the latest collection from Dubarry which includes stylish dry waxes, beautiful tweeds, leather handbags and of course, a selection of signature waterproof boots.

Prior to launching our new Autumn/Winter Collection, we are looking forward to exhibiting at two excellent local events. Here we will have a selection of our new collection alongside some special clearance offers from brands including RM Williams, Barbour and Hunter.

Like us, Bucktrout is a family owned business.
Based in Leeds, with over 50 years experience, they are understandably proud of their Yorkshire heritage.
Bucktrout Tailoring are committed to beautiful tailoring and a high quality finish, all at a fair price. These expertly tailored jackets are both elegant and timeless and have proven popular with all ages.
Manufactured in Portugal, the tweed is chosen from the iconic Harris Mill in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland or from a variety of local mills to Bucktrout in Yorkshire.
Harris tweed is internationally renowned for its longevity, value, style and timeless quality. The mark of the Orb is pressed onto every length of cloth and seen on the traditional label affixed to finished items. This mark guarantees the highest quality tweed, made from pure virgin wool, dyed, spun and handwoven by islanders of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland in their homes to the laws outlined in the Harris Tweed Act of Parliament.

For 2017 we are incredibly excited to be sponsoring local event rider, Ginny Howe. At 29 years old Ginny competes to a 4* level and between March and June last year, ran 71 times and was placed within the top 10 at 62% of these so undoubtedly one to watch for this season.

She was also selected for the Young Rider GB squad and since then, competed at many CCI***/Advanced and is currently ranked as a category B rider. Ginny also is an excellent instructor, when she finds the time, and actively teaches grassroots riders and those competing at the higher levels of British Eventing, also holding clinics and instructing a variety of levels.

Despite the warm weather, there were some fantastic scores during our Open Day on Saturday with the winning team of our charity clay shoot only missing 15 clays! Overall 65% of 4,242 clays were hit and only 5 white pheasants were missed, helping us raise an extra £360 for charity. Congratulations to the Red Herrings for an almost perfect score late in the day and also, thank you to everyone who took part and helped us raise £3,114.96 for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Linnell Clay Shoot Results – 2016
The Winner of the Pool shoot was Barry Phillips with the only straight 10 score of the day. He was closely followed by Andy Bennett, David Atkinson and Tim Abbott, all who shot 9. The average score for the day was 3.7 so to win a days game shooting at Seawell Valley, kindly donated by John Linnell, was exceptionally well deserved with a score of 10.
Thank you so much to Makita, Robbie George and Foxdenton Gin who joined us and certainly added to a great day. Most importantly, a huge thank you to Simulated Game Shoot without whom, the day would not have happened and who organised an exceptional shooting competition and generously gave up their time to help raise money for the Air Ambulance.
