Linnell Countrywear has taken great care in the preparation of the content for this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and all products have been fairly described.
Whilst the colour reproduction of products on our website are close is as true as possible, slight variations may occur. Therefore Linnell Countrywear disclaims all warranties, as to the accuracy of the information contained on our website, and shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials used on this website.
Due to fluctuations beyond our control we reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without prior notice.
Our stock levels are updated regularly but inevitably there are very occasional instances when we are unable to fulfil an order. In this case we will contact you as soon as possible to try and resolve the situation with as little inconvenience caused to you as possible.
For the purposes of current UK Distance Selling Legislation, all promotions associated with orders from Linnell Countrywear will cease to be valid when stock is no longer available, unless otherwise stated.
You will find links from other websites to our site, we do not necessarily endorse any such websites and we are not responsible for the information, material, products or services contained on or accessible through those websites.
We will attempt to dispatch all orders within one working day. Please allow one to four working days, once you have placed an order, for delivery to be made. For International Deliveries, please contact us for a more accurate delivery time.
We will normally dispatch parcels using DPD Local although we may send using Royal Mail.
The Next Day service is only applicable for delivery for the next working day and orders must be placed by 10.00am.
Please note all deliveries will require a signature upon arrival and all risk of loss or damage of the goods is passed to you upon successful delivery.
We currently offer a free UK standard delivery and £12.00 for a Next day UK Mainland Service for orders placed before 10am. For orders to be delivered to Europe, the postage charge is £20.00 and for the Rest of the World it is £40.00. These costs are fixed, no matter how many items you order.

Cancellation & Returns
We have extended our returns and exchanges period to Monday 20th January 2020 for any item purchased online or in-store for Christmas, between 1st November 2019 and 25th December 2019.
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with goods purchased from us, please return them to us and complete the returns form included with your original order. In compliance with the Long Distance Selling regulations, we will be pleased to accept any returns within 14 days from your receipt of the order as long as the goods are in a saleable condition and are in their original packaging with labels intact.
Please note that goods are returned at your own cost. We do recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting from the Post Office, and consider insuring your parcel, in order that you can claim for any loss or damage, as we are unable to compensate for parcels that are damaged or mislaid in transit. Refunds and Exchanges may only be processed once we have received the returned goods.
Goods will be refunded within 14 days upon receipt of the returned item and reimbursement will be made directly to the credit card account of the person who originally paid for the goods.

Return of Sale Items
Sale products purchased online or by mail order can be returned to us for a refund or exchange within seven days from your receipt of the order. Please note that we are unable to accept sale items for a refund which have been bought at our shop.
If you have requested an item to be sent in replacement, we will dispatch the new item within 3 working days of receiving the returned parcel, subject to availability. If the item, which you have requested is at a lower value to what you originally paid, we will refund the difference. If it is higher then we will contact you to take your payment details so that we can process the additional payment. Please note that in the case of varying values, we may well refund the initial amount and then charge the new value whether higher or lower.
If we are unable to fulfil your request for an alternative item we will contact you as soon as possible with an alternative suggestion or offer you a refund.
If you have received goods which you believe to be faulty, please contact us and we will resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Please note that due to health and safety reasons we do not accept any faulty items which have not been cleaned thoroughly.
We reserve the right not to offer a refund or exchange on any product that has been damaged once you have received the delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All prices quoted on our website are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT applies to all European Union (EU) countries and is currently set at 20%.
For any orders being delivered outside of the EU, VAT will be deducted manually once the order has been placed and your account will be reimbursed prior to dispatch.
Please not that if your order is being delivered outside of the EU, it is likely that you will be charged import duties and local government taxes. Any customs or import charges incurred upon entrance to a non-EU country will be the responsibility of the customer. The charges are determined by the local government and so will vary between countries. Linnell Countrywear must abide by the import and export regulations of each country.
All of our charges are made in Pound Sterling and the exchange rate is set at the discretion of the individual credit card company.
Due to our agreement with certain suppliers, we are unable to ship certain products outside of the UK. Therefore we will be unable to process any international orders containing either Barbour or Dubarry products.
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal payments; recognised cards include MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, JCB, Solo, Switch and Maestro Domestic. We use a secure third party payment gateway, PayPal, to provide maximum security for our customer when processing payment. Upon completion of an order, your card will be charged for the full amount of your order and payment is transferred from your account.
Unfortunately we no longer accept payment by cheque but please contact us if you would like to process an order using an alternative method.
When purchasing goods online, you will be passed on to a Secure Order Processing page and your details will be encrypted by 56-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and payment card details.
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the details of your order and payment are secure but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
Linnell Countrywear, part of Linnell Brothers Limited, observes the correct code of practice covering the use of personal data as outlined in the data protection act of 1984.
All information that we collect is kept secure and processed fairly and within the law. We will not release your name, address and email address to any external company, organisation or individual. Our policy is to keep the personal information we receive completely confidential, and used solely for internal purposes.

None other than the owners (Linnell Countrywear) are permitted to reproduce, sell or exploit for any commercial purpose any part of the website or our services.
These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
You may only use this website in accordance with the above Terms and Conditions and, in any event, for lawful and proper purposes which includes complying with all relevant laws, regulations and codes of practice within the UK or other jurisdiction from which you are accessing this website.
To the extent that we are lawfully able to do so, in no event will we be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential losses or damages of whatsoever kind arising out of access to, or the use of or inability to use, this website or any information contained in it or arising out of the services we provide, including loss of profit and the like, whether or not in the contemplation of the parties, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
